Public toilets
The ones a driver can actually use: open at the hour you need, with somewhere to stop.
Street food
A quick meal between trips, marked by the drivers who eat there.
Surge locations
The spots where demand picks up, as drivers have found them.
Cards you can answer
Every card carries a few short questions: is it open, is it clean, is parking easy, is it female-friendly, is there a driver discount. Each driver gets one thumbs up or thumbs down on each, and the next driver has a better idea before they pull in.
Tap the card's address to be driven there. An iPhone with Google Maps installed asks which maps app to open; otherwise the phone's own maps app does.

Adding a place
Tap + where you are standing, choose a type, give the place a name and save. The card is pinned at your exact position and other drivers are sent to that spot, which is why adding one needs precise location. A card you added has Delete in its menu. A card someone else added cannot be changed from the app; email hello@ryedc.com about one that is wrong.
The map opens without location
Around Me opens whether or not you have granted location. Without it, the map starts at world view and a strip across the top offers to fix that. Precise location is asked for only when you add a card.
Around Me is here for the drivers who use RyeDC between Uber, DiDi and Lyft trips. RyeDC is not affiliated with any of them. More in the Help: Around Me.
