A cleaning record for your rideshare car

Some regulators and some rideshare platforms ask to see that a car is cleaned. RyeDC's cleaning register keeps a time-stamped record of each clean, per car, and exports it as a weekly, monthly or custom report in PDF or Excel.

The Cleaning Register in RyeDC: a list of time-stamped Full Clean and Sanitised entries

Two checklists, two buttons

Add a log and the app shows the two checklists, the driver's high-touch surfaces and the passenger's. Then tap what you did.

  • Full Clean: the driver's and the passenger's high-touch surfaces.
  • Sanitised: the passenger's high-touch surfaces, which should be cleaned and disinfected after each passenger, using recommended products.

The log is stamped with the time. Swipe a log to delete it.

The register report

Menu › Reports, choose the car, then Cleaning Register, then This week, This month or Custom dates. It comes as a PDF or an Excel file you can hand over, with every clean in the period and its time.

Who asks for one

Whether you must keep a cleaning record depends on your state and the platforms you drive for. In Victoria, commercial passenger vehicle (CPV) drivers answer to Safe Transport Victoria; other states have their own regulators, and each platform sets its own standards. A record kept as you went is easier to show than one written up afterwards.

Uber, DiDi and Lyft drivers can use the register. RyeDC is not affiliated with any of them. More in the Help: Cleaning register.
